  • 5/10 CourseLeaf Section Scheduler (CLSS) Presentation

The Office of the Registrar is hosting a virtual presentation about the new CourseLeaf Section Scheduler (CLSS) academic scheduling system that will launch at UConn this summer. The virtual presentation will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2-3:30pm via WebEx. While the presentation is intended for the academic departmental schedulers who will be using CLSS, anyone with an interest in the system is welcome to attend.

To add the event to your calendar, please click on the following Webex link: Introducing CLSS. Registration is not required, but attendees will need to log in with their NetID and password. We will record the presentation for anyone unable to attend the meeting and copies of the slide deck will be available upon request.

    The agenda is as follows:

    1. Project Update
    2. CLSS Demonstration
    3. Spring 2024 Process and Timelines
    4. Q&A

Please note that this presentation is not intended as a training session. The vendor will be providing training over the summer, and we will share the details of those when they become available.

We're currently working with the vendor to finalize testing and configuration of the system and will be reaching out over the next several weeks to individual units as needed. The system will be deployed in time to build the Spring 2024 schedule of classes and, unlike in years past, there will be no early August deadline for large classes; there will be a single deadline after the start of the fall term.

To ensure that you receive all future communications about the CourseLeaf CLSS project, we strongly encourage those with an interest in academic scheduling to subscribe to the Registrar Academic Scheduling mailing list. Updates about this event will also be available on the Registrar website.
