On Saturday, April 22nd, the university’s phone carrier is migrating the Storrs campus voice services for office (landline) phones to newer technology. Numbers will be moved in batches throughout the day. There is the potential that your office phone may have a brief interruption of service (no calls in and no calls out) while your number is being ported. 911 calls will not be impacted, and you will not lose any voicemails. ITS will reach out directly to call centers if they are affected by this change.
