This year the UConn Women’s Center is holding our annual Take Back the Night event on April 19th from 7-10 pm in the Student Union Ballroom to honor survivors of sexual assault and gender-based violence. Our theme is “A World Free of Gender-Based Violence”. This year, we’re planning for two speakers, reading submissions from our previously held writing competition, an open mic for participants to speak out, and a march around campus to show our support.
