    Please join the Department of Public Health Sciences at UConn for Dr. Barry S. Levy's talk on his new book  “From Horror to Hope: Recognizing and Preventing the Health Impacts of War.” 

    Barry S. Levy, M.D., M.P.H., has written and spoken about the health consequences of war for many years. He is author of the new book “From Horror to Hope: Recognizing and Preventing the Health Impacts of War.” He has co-edited 20 books on the health impacts of war and terrorism, climate change, environmental and occupational hazards, and social injustice, and written numerous journal articles on these subjects. He is an Adjunct Professor of Public Health at Tufts University School of Medicine and a Past President of the American Public Health Association.
