Roper Center Graduate Research Assistant Opportunity (75%)
Fall 2014 Semester
Responsibilities (to be divided among this RA and our current RA):
- Assist with public opinion research and producing reports and media releases on salient issues to be released to journalists, scholars, political decision-makers, and posted on Roper Center website
 - Assist with research on congressional elections (with a focus on 2014) or other academic subjects
 - Assist with organizing events on and off campus, including media outreach
 - Help supervise and mentor undergraduate RAs
 
 
Qualifications:
- Intelligent, ambitious, professionally responsible
 - Quantitative research skills, including SPSS and other statistical packages
 - MS word, excel, powerpoint, etc.
 - Good writing skills
 - Good teaching skills
 - Knowledge of public opinion or American politics
