  • 7/12 Looking for a Family Activity for Saturday?

Spotlight Story Hour at The Benton
    Saturday, June 12
    3-4 pm

The book in the Spotlight is Cam Jansen and the Mystery Writer Mystery from David Adler’s wildly popular easy-reader series that follows the exploits of a fifth grade female detective named Jennifer Jansen and her best friend Eric. Nicknamed Cam for her photographic memory, the protagonist closes her eyes and says "click" at various points in the story, mimicking the sound of a camera while memorizing the scene in front of her and later recalling the details to solve a mystery.

After the story, there will be a fun art activity.

The museum is open until 4:30, which leaves time to enjoy the summer exhibitions:

Stagecraft: 50 Years of Design at Hartford Stage
