The AAFSA (African American Faculty and Staff Association) is focused on providing a support network and a host of resources for African and African American faculty, staff, students, and allies. Please join us for our meetings where your voice, ideas, experiences, and knowledge matters. We want to hear from you and meet you!
Our next meeting will be held in person on Tuesday, February 28th from 12:00pm to 1:00pm in the African American Cultural Center (AACC) Community Room. The AACC is located on the 4th floor of the Student Union on the UConn Storrs campus. We are providing lunch for the meeting. Our guest speaker is Carl Dean, Interim Associate Director of the African American Cultural Center, and Assistant Director of Student Support Services. Carl will speak about his experiences working at UConn, as well as his other hobbies and interests.
