Additional UConn Information

  • Host a HESA Practicum Student

Master's students in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) program will begin their fall 2023 practicum searches in the coming weeks. Practicum experiences are essential to the HESA curriculum, and allow students to consider the relations of theory and practice and to better understand the many functions and services that different college and university offices, as well as other organizations, provide to students and other stakeholders. Practicums may be completed in-person or remotely, and students must each complete 140 hours in the fall 2023 term.

To learn more about serving as a practicum site, you can visit the HESA website. If you would like to notify HESA students about a potential practicum opportunity, you can complete the HESA Practicum Site Opportunity Form
