  • Enrolling Participants

We are recruiting women who have experienced unwanted or distressing sexual experiences for a research project investigating the effectiveness of two, free smartphone apps. Participation involves an introductory virtual study session (2 hours) that includes a survey, daily engagement with a free, smartphone app for ten days (10 minutes/day), completion of one daily survey for ten days (5 minutes/day), and a second virtual study session (1 hour) that includes a final survey at the end of the study. The surveys will consist of questions about your mood, thoughts, feelings, sexual experiences (e.g., nonconsensual sexual experiences, sexual assault), and demographics.

Participants will receive up to $60 for completing the study. This study will be completed completely online. Approval of this study is on file with the University of Connecticut IRB (Protocol H22-0120).
