UConn faculty in social sciences, humanities, and arts disciplines are invited to submit an opportunity to be included in the SHARE Virtual Summer Apprenticeship program.
This program facilitates opportunities for early career undergraduates majoring in social sciences, humanities, and arts disciplines to assist faculty mentors with research over the summer, with an emphasis on providing pathways for underrepresented, 1stgeneration, and high need students to engage in research.
Funding:
Faculty mentors receive a $500 professional development stipend in recognition of the guidance and support they provide to apprentices. Student apprentices earn up to $1,400, paid out as an hourly wage (92 hours of summer project work).
Submit an Opportunity:
To participate, submit a brief description of your research and the ways in which an apprentice can contribute over the summer by Friday, February 24, 2023.
