    Ada Ferrer, Julius Silver Professor of History & Latin American & Caribbean History, NYU

    - WINNER of the 2022 Pulitzer Prize in History

    - WINNER of the Los Angeles Times Book Award

    Ada Ferrer is a Cuban American Historian. She is also the author of Insurgent Cuba: Race, Nation, and Revolution, 1868-1898 (1999), and Freedom's Mirror: Cuba & Haiti in the Age of Revolution (2014).
