  • 2/1 2023 Responsible Conduct of Research Training

The OVPR is pleased to announce that registration for the 2023 Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training sessions is now open. The OVPR has developed the series of training sessions to meet the requirements for RCR training. Funding agencies, like the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) require in-person responsible conduct of research (RCR) training for individuals who conduct research supported by these funds. To learn more about the specific requirements, as well as who should take this training, please visit the RCR website.

The 2023 RCR Training Workshops will take place throughout the month of February and will be presented live via WebEx in a series of 1 hour long unique sessions.  There is no cost to register and participate.  Please note that 8 hours of unique presentation material is required in order to satisfy the RCR training workshop requirement.  You must register separately for each presentation.  Please visit the RCR website for more information and a list of sessions with their corresponding sign up times: https://ovpr.uconn.edu/services/rics/responsible-conduct-of-research/.
