  • 1/18 Woodstock....Yesterday and Today

We all know about the amazing Woodstock Music Festival (3 days of peace and music) that took place in 1969. Now you have the unique opportunity to experience the songs first-hand.  Join Earthtones Vocal Ensemble for the Spring 2023 semester as we explore the music, history, and culture of the late 1960s centered around the Woodstock Festival.  The program includes a variety of popular songs sung by Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Joe Cocker, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Sly and the Family Stone, Janis Joplin, and other prominent performers.

Earthtones meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:30 in MUSB108. Our concert (with full band) is on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

There are no auditions, but members are expected to be able to sing in tune. If you can carry a harmony part, even better!

The fee for community members ($35) and rehearsals start on 1/18/23.

Don’t miss this opportunity to join your voice in song with a great community of students, faculty and community members. You won't regret it.
