  • 1/12 Innovation Zone Makerspace Open House

Do you consider yourself to be a Maker?  Do you enjoy DIY projects, crafts, electronics, woodworking, or just like to tinker?  Or maybe you just want to learn more about the Maker Movement or Makerspaces in general?  Whichever is the case, you are invited to the UConn Innovation Zone (IZone) Makerspace Open House on Today, January 12th from 3:00-5:00pm. Located on the lower level of Werth Residence Tower in Room 014, the IZone is a makerspace for all UConn faculty, staff and students to explore, create, and innovate. This open house is an opportunity for faculty and staff to connect with other makers, learn more about what the IZone has to offer, explore potential collaborations, and have a little fun before the Spring semester officially begins!  We encourage you to bring examples of your own projects to showcase your talents and interests.  For more information about the Innovation Zone, visit s.uconn.edu/IZone or contact Cody Ryan, Makerspace Supervisor, at cody.d.ryan@uconn.edu.  We look forward to connecting with you!
