It is with sadness that we share the loss of a valued member of our community, Christopher Raccio. Christopher passed away unexpectedly on 12/5/2022. He was a non-degree seeking student, hoping to pursue a degree in Economics.
For those wishing to pay their respects to Christopher’s family, the memorial service will be on 12/17/2022 from 10:30am-11:30pm at Living Rock Church, 138 CT-81, Killingworth, CT, 06419. This is a difficult time for the University as we navigate the many emotions we may feel after experiencing the loss of another community member. In addition to the sadness of this immediate incident, we are aware that tragedy may trigger our own personal histories of loss and grief. Staff and faculty are encouraged to reach out to UConn’s Employee Assistance Program if they are in need of support.
