The UConn Office of Veterans Affairs and Military Programs has initiated its 9th Annual Veterans Donation Drive! Consider placing a collection box in your area! Collected items will be donated to shelters which provide housing, training, job placement, and other services to the homeless and those in need with a focus on veterans. The items can be dropped off in Hawley 100B (Main Office) between November 14th and December 16th!
If you wish to be competitive, come up with a team name for your office or group and attach the name to your donation bags or boxes! An editable copy of our pre-made flyer is available, please contact Emily Lugo at emily.i.lugo@uconn.edu to get started. May the best team win! Help show our veterans and our community how much UConn cares!
This year’s winners will receive a commemorative trophy to showcase their team spirit!
