On November 10th, all UConn faculty, staff, and students will be required to use Duo two-factor authentication to log in to NetID Single Sign On, Microsoft 365, and classroom computers.
ITS recommends that you enroll and opt in to 2FA before Nov. 10th on the Authentication Portal. If you added a device in the past and do not need to update it, just click “Opt in to 2FA” to add Microsoft 365 coverage.
Once you opt in, you will receive authentication prompts from Duo after you sign in to an online service. If your email or OneDrive is open, you may receive a pop-up to sign in to Microsoft 365.
You will use 2FA for computers in centrally scheduled classrooms on and after November 10th.
