Lambda Kappa Sigma sorority is putting on a 5K to raise money for our philanthropy Project HOPE and invites you to join and/or donate!
Project HOPE (Health Opportunities for People Everywhere) is a non-profit organization aiming to provide long-term, sustainable health care for individuals globally. Their current efforts include helping Florida residents recover from the repercussions of hurricane Ian. Past efforts have included work with the COVID-19 pandemic. Proceeds of this event will help provide health care to people around the world who otherwise may not be as fortunate.
HOPE WaLKS will take place October 30th at 10am on the UCONN campus. We will meet between 9:45 and 10am in the UCONN School of Pharmacy and begin the 5k walk together around campus at 10am. If you are not in the UCONN area, feel free to register and possibly receive a t-shirt! Make sure to do the walk any time during that day on your own and send us pictures/tag us on instagram @uconn_lks!
