UConn Build Day with Habitat for Humanity

Build Hours are: 8:30am - 2:30pm
3 step process that every volunteer will need to do to get ready to volunteer
1. Sign Up (at least 5 days in advance):
- Go to www.habitatect.org/volunteer
- Click the Volunteer UP Button at the top of the page
- Log In or Register (if you are new to this system) and make sure to select UCONN as a group
- (this is important or you will not see the team availability)
- Return to the calendar to select the day and project that your group is volunteering for:
- either Sat, October 30th in Willimantic, or Sat Nov 6th project 4 in Norwich
- This will take you to a screen with information and you can choose an e-mail reminder, and then click "sign up"
- You should see a page that says "sign up confirmation". If you do not see "sign up confirmation", fix the error indicated and click "sign up" again.
2. Watch Safety Video:
There is a short safety video that all new volunteers need to watch before volunteering on site. The video can be
watched online at https://www.habitatect.org/volunteer/volunteer-training-resources/
3. Waiver:
Each volunteer will need to agree to the digital e-waiver when logging into Volunteer UP. If the system didn’t
prompt you to do so, please email us and let us know.
