ITS is deploying an updated version of the Duo two-factor authentication (2FA) prompt on Monday, August 22, 2022.
The updated prompt features a new interface. In the current version, you choose your authentication method (call, passcode, or push) on the screen. The new prompt defaults to the method selected at setup. To switch how you respond, you click “Other options.” View a preview of the new interface and find out more information about Duo2FA protection.
If you have not signed up for Duo 2FA protection, now is the time! 2FA adds a second layer of protection to your online accounts; even if your NetID and password are stolen, you can still block fraudulent access.
