In an effort to offer more materials and a better experience for incoming UConn freshmen, Student Activities will be lining Fairfield Way with welcome tables representing different departments and offices from on and around UConn’s campus. Friday, August 26th is when all the incoming freshmen move in and we are hoping to provide answers to questions, information packets, and other materials for parents, families and anyone else helping move in freshmen. We will also have Welcome Tents on Saturday August 27th for returning students.
The tables will run from 10am-3pm both days, however, that does not mean your area would need to staff the table for the entirety of that time. If you are interested in staffing a table at any point during that timeframe, please let us know! Our department, Student Activities, will setup, tear down, and provide light refreshments for your staff members who cover the tables.
