  • 5/24 Discover Your Emotional Intelligence Training

    Tuesday May 24, 2022 12:00pm – 1:00pm

Join Human Resources and Deer Oaks for a personal development opportunity perfect for all employees, whether you are a supervisor, or being supervised.

Embracing the nuances of human emotion have demonstrated several benefits, particularly at work, such as better collaboration, compassionate leadership, boosted morale and overall a happier and healthier workplace.

Being able to recognize feelings in oneself and others, managing emotions, and balancing thoughts are invaluable traits that are associated with emotional intelligence (EQ). Emotional intelligence requires skills such as self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.

In this session, you will learn that by recognizing the feelings of family members and co-workers, and responding in a balanced, rational way, you can improve relationships and collaborate more effectively.

Join us to learn about the four aspects of emotional intelligence, the ability to cope with daily situations and understand how the emotional brain impact behavior.

Presented by Deer Oaks EAP in collaboration with Human Resources as part of the May Well-Being Programs.
