Study Designs, Statistical Methods, and Data Analyses in Health Research
Dr. Wenqi Gan is a Biostatistician and Statistics and Data Linkage Leader from British Columbia Center for Disease Control. Dr. Gan has more than 20 years of experiences in planning and conducting epidemiologic studies and statistical analyses in the areas of cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, environmental and occupational health, and substance use and drug overdose. Since 2000, he has published 70 peer-reviewed papers including 31 first-author papers. This seminar will highlight various statistical methods and study designs that are commonly used in biomedical health research. Dr. Gan is a candidate for a position in UConn Health’s new data core resource.
