Community Ride Day is back, on Sunday April 10th from 1-4 pm. The event will begin at the start of Fairfield Way in front of the Student Union.
Join us at 1pm for our opening speakers Tony Cherolis from BiCi Hartford and Kai Addae from Bradley Street Bicycle Co-Op. We encourage participants to start the route using any mode of human powered transportation (biking, roller skating, skateboarding, scootering, etc.) between 1:30 PM and 4 PM. The full route goes from the student union down fairfield way, in front of Wilbur cross, back up to the Union using Glenbrook Road (Roads will be closed to traffic). And activities will be spread out throughout the route.
Only UConn students can rent out bikes through cycleshare so any non UConn students please bring your own modes of transportation for the event.
Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/legal guardian with them on the day of the event to sign the acknowledgement of risk form.
