Nominate a student for the CLAS Student Leadership Board!
The nomination deadline has been extended and now closes on Friday, March 25th at 11:59 PM EST.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) Student Leadership Board (SLB) is a group of ambassadors committed to enhancing the value of a liberal arts and sciences education at UConn through outreach, communications, academic experiences, and alumni connections.
As an ambassador, students are expected to:
Execute and participate in College outreach events that promote the mission of the College
Develop and carry out projects and initiatives that promote the CLAS student community, student and alumni relationships, and other interest areas as determined by students and CLAS leadership
Promote the CLAS community and student resources
Participate in bi-weekly meetings
Participate in special project teams (e.g.,community building and engagement, alumni relations)
Eligible candidates must be undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences who have spent at least one semester at UConn. Students from all UConn campuses are eligible and encouraged to apply.
If you know of a CLAS student looking to gain experience in leadership, project management, marketing and communication, building community, public speaking, and decision-making, nominate them now!
