UConn Stamford’s Writing Center is staffed by experienced peer tutors who can help students with their writing assignments at any stage of the process, from brainstorming to final revisions.
The Writing Center is temporarily located within the Source for Active Learning/Q Center in room 3.13 but will move to its permanent home inside the library in fall 2022.
For spring 2022, The Writing Center has tutors available for drop-in appointments at the following days and times:
Mondays from 1:00-4:00
Tuesdays from 1:00-6:00
Wednesdays from 1:00-4:00
Thursdays from 1:00-6:00
and virtual-only appointments on Sundays from 4:00-6:00 (coming soon)
A new scheduling system that will allow students to book a tutor at specific times is forthcoming, but tutors are available in room 3.13 for drop-in appointments at the times above.
Students may also book virtual tutoring sessions via the Storrs Writing Center through this website: https://writingcenter.uconn.edu/
