The UConn Innovation Zone presents the 4th Annual Modified Pinewood Derby taking place during the UConn Maker Fair. Teams consisting of two to four members will need to register to compete. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate!
Upon Registration, teams will receive a basic derby car kit to modify. Car kits will be available starting Monday, February 28th.
Each entry MUST incorporate a 3D Printed part and include at least 1 circuited element (light, motor, sound, etc.).
Race will consist of a Bracket-Style Elimination format until one car is deemed the Race Grand Champion.
Location: Innovation Zone Makerspace- Werth Residence Tower Room 014
Date: Saturday, April 16th
Time: Races begin at 11:00am
Teams can register at https://lciz.uconn.edu/modified-pinewood-derby/. Upon registration, teams will receive a basic car kit to modify. Each entry must incorporate a 3D Printed aspect and include at least 1 working Circuited element.
