Additional UConn Information

  • The Center for Career Development is Hiring

Do you know a student looking for an on-campus internship opportunity during the 2022-2023 school year?

The Center for Career Development is seeking undergraduate students to apply for our various paid internship opportunities. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong dedication to teamwork, a commitment to creating an equitable and inclusive environment, and excitement to grow their personal and professional development skills in relation to their future career interests.

All majors are welcome and no prior career experience is needed!

We are currently hiring for various project areas within the following internship programs:

    • Outreach and Engagement
    • Career Consulting and Services
    • Program Development and Marketing
    • Operations, Technology, and Data

Applicants must commit to two full semesters of employment as well as a mandatory (paid) training that occurs during the last two weeks in August before the start of classes. Applicants cannot be planning to participate in a simultaneous position that would prevent them from fully committing to this training or from performing the full duties of a Center for Career Development intern (examples include but are not limited to holding a position as an RA, participation in a simultaneous internship that overlaps with training, planning to hold a campus leadership position, etc.). Inability to commit to these requirements will result in disqualification from internship consideration.

To learn more about our paid internship opportunities and review qualifications, please visit our main recruiting system, Handshake, or the “Work at the Center” section of our website. Applicants must complete and submit all required application materials; incomplete applications will not be accepted. We strongly encourage interested applicants to have their résumé critiqued at the Career Center prior to applying.
