**Deadline extended for submitting a SHARE Summer Apprenticeship**

UConn faculty in social sciences, humanities, and arts disciplines are invited to submit an opportunity to be included in the SHARE Virtual Summer Research Apprenticeship program.

This program facilitates opportunities for first- and second-year undergraduates majoring in social sciences, humanities, and arts disciplines to assist faculty mentors with research over the summer, with an emphasis on providing pathways for students who are underrepresented, 1st generation, and/or have financial need to engage in research.

    Funding:

Student apprentices receive a $1000 stipend for 90 hours of summer project work; faculty mentors receive a $500 professional development stipend in recognition of the guidance and support they provide to apprentices.
