Have you heard of microbiomes? Maybe you have but didn’t know what they were. Microbiomes are microscopic bugs (microbes) living in your body that when healthy and diverse in your body, help fight serious illness.  Unhealthy changes to your microbes have been linked to diabetes and even cancer.

How do you keep your microbes healthy you ask? It boils down to what we put in our body – what we eat, what we don’t eat and what our lifestyle habits are.

November’s WELCOA Health Bulletin highlights specifically how to keep your microbes healthy and how to prevent them from becoming unhealthy.
