     In-Hospital Practitioners Needed

    Study Title: Advances in Patient Safety through Simulation

    We are studying a new simulation-based resuscitation program for out-of-hospital and in-hospital emergency medical staff and specialists. The purpose of this study is to learn the effectiveness of this new program.

     

     

    Study procedures:

    •instructor-led course (lunch provided)

    •simulated medical scenarios

    •cognitive tests

      

    Participation is 2 sessions each, 6 months apart

    First session is March 17-18, 2022

    Second session September 22-23, 2022

    $50 transportation cost reimbursement

    Certificate of completion

     

     

    You may qualify if:

    • you are an emergency medicine provider (ED, FP, ICU) surgeon (OB), other subspecialty, anesthesiologist, trainee of GME, and nurse from ED, FP, ICU/NICU, or OB/L&D, located in the Hartford, CT area
    • you are 18 years old or older
    • you have the ability to read, write and speak in English
