The Graduate Students of Color Association is reaching out to potential membership for this academic year. If you can share this information with the students your departments work with, it would be greatly appreciated.

    ---

If you are a graduate student of Color, consider joining our community (if you have not joined already)!

Please email us at gscauconn@gmail.com to be added to our email listserv to stay updated on upcoming events and initiatives.

The Graduate Students of Color Association is an organization for racially historically marginalized identities. We recognize that disparate racial identity groups have a disparate relationship with oppression. However, we find solidarity in combating, recognizing, and dismantling the unique racial oppression of differing historically marginalized racial groups.

Thus, GSCA provides fellowship, advocacy, support, mentorship, and love to graduate students of Color attending UConn. We seek to facilitate connections and unite the various cultural centers in order to center the needs of graduate students of Color.

All graduate students of Color are welcome to join the UCONN Graduate Students of Color Association (GSCA)! GSCA is an organization that provides opportunities for fellowship, community, professional development, advocacy, support, and love to graduate students of Color.
