We urge all of you to attend the National Work & Family Month events including the Work/Life Expo and take away from the Expo and other events personal and professional resources and information that will benefit you throughout the year!
The Work/Life Expo is on Thursday, October 14, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom! Employees will also be able to attend and view presentations virtually through Microsoft Teams.
In addition to the vendor information, employees will be able to receive a flu shot from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Student Union, Room 104.
As we continue to work our way through the pandemic, we are finding ourselves with more opportunity to re-engage with our communities and renew our holistic well-being. Assessing our work and personal lives along with our priorities is top of mind for many of us. Heads of Schools and Colleges, Departments and Offices are encouraged to facilitate arrangements to cover essential office functions in their respective offices in support of staff member’s attendance at the Work & Family Month events. In line with University practice, staff should attend events with supervisory approval and operating needs permitting. Most sessions will also be recorded for future viewing.
