  • Seeking student interviews for ResLife videos

Residential LIfe is in search of recommendations of charismatic, engaging students who may be interested in being filmed for our Sharing Spaces video series. About 6 years ago, ResLife created a video series that all incoming residential students watch before living on campus for the first time. This includes our transfer and campus change students, students living at the Stamford campus, and first-time students at Storrs. The videos consist of real students talking about their experiences and giving tips on how to be successful in community living. We are updating our videos this Fall and are looking for students who would be open to sharing their diverse experiences living on-campus on camera. The time commitment for each student is approximately 1 hour in mid-October through mid-November (and Dairy Bar ice cream will be offered for anyone who films an interview!).

If you have any undergraduate who you think would be interested in sharing their story (the challenges and the successes alike), please send us their name and email address by this Friday, October 1 to livingoncampus@uconn.edu. We will reach out to recommended students early next week with additional details and to invite them to participate. If you have any questions, please contact us at livingoncampus@uconn.edu
