The Reality of Suicide - Webinar
    Presented by:

    ASL - English Interpreter
    Sibling Suicide Survivor

    Thursday September 23rd
    6 - 8pm (ET)
    Online - Zoom

It is a topic that we aren't comfortable talking about until we have to. Suicide is a reality that does not discriminate. It doesn't care who you are, what you do, or where you're from; it can affect anyone. Presented by a sibling suicide survivor, this webinar will be an open and honest conversation about suicide; the facts, statistics, terminology, myths, and prevention. Let's talk.

Tarra holds a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, Graduate Certificate in Legal Interpreting, Bachelor's Degree in Psychology of Deviance, and Associates Degree in ASL/English Interpreting. She is also in her fourth year as the President of Minnesota RID. Since the death of her younger brother to suicide, she has spent the last three years taking and presenting workshops on the topic of suicide. She also attends suicide specific support groups, survivor days, and often interprets workshops and webinars on the topic as well.
