  • KSI Research Participants Needed

    RESEARCH STUDY PARTICIPANTS WANTED to examine physiological responses associated with rest and exercise in cold environments in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Connecticut.

     

    Purpose: To validate a body temperature alerting system using physiological responses that occur during rest and exercise in cold environments.

     

    You may be eligible to participate if:

    You are a Male between 18-28 years of age

    Recreationally active (at least 150 minutes of aerobic exercise per week)

     

    You are NOT eligible to participate if:

    You are a Female

    You have allergic reactions to the cold

    You have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 6 months

    Have a current injury/illness

     

    Participants will be eligible for monetary compensation.

    This research is conducted under the direction of Douglas Casa, a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology (douglas.casa@uconn.edu)
