  • 7/12 Env & Climate Justice POLS3240E SS 2, Asynchronous

This course will introduce students to the major concepts and debates related to the unequal effects of global environmental and climate change and the ongoing efforts to combat such effects. We use ‘environmental and climate justice’ as a lens to comprehend and analyze the nexus between global environmental and climate change on the one hand and social, economic, and political inequalities on the other hand. To accomplish these goals, we will use concepts from political science, environmental studies, and human rights.
