Target Audience: Faculty, staff, residents, and students interested in clinical research
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: a) Recognize the relevance of investigating rare disorders not only for that specific disorder but also for more common disorders; b) Gain knowledge on the specific rare disorders discussed; c) Observe the utility of bedside-to-bench research in understanding mechanisms, pathophysiology, and the development of therapeutic modalities.
