  • 4/7 Spotlight on World Health Day

World Health Day – April 7 – marks the anniversary of the founding of World Health Organization (WHO) 73 years ago today. Each year, World Health Day draws attention to specific health topic of concern that affects people all over the world.

In 2021, World Health Day is focusing on Building a fairer, healthier world. Throughout the past year, the pandemic has emphasized that people lead better lives solely due to circumstances out of their control (where they are born, work, live, and even their age). These inequalities lead to unfair health inequities, which can result in adverse, preventable outcomes for many all over the world.
