  • 4/9 LTE Speaker Series: A Discussion with Pam Eddinger

    Dear Colleagues,

We are so excited to invite you to our final event in the LTE Speaker Series for this academic year, to be held on Friday, April 9 (9:00-11:00 am). Dr. Pam Eddinger, President of Bunker Hill Community College, will lead us in a discussion about how to ingrain diversity, equity, and inclusion in our LTE project, and in all of our educational endeavors at UConn.

Dr. Eddinger is an inspirational leader, passionate about seeing all students as assets and giving them a seat at the table. As President of Bunker Hill, she leads the largest of 15 community colleges in Massachusetts. She has a PhD in Japanese Literature from Columbia University and has service in the community college movement spanning over 25 years, with senior posts in academics and student affairs, communications and policy, and executive leadership. Her many accolades include being named a “Champion of Change for College Opportunity” by President Obama in 2016.

We looking forward to Dr. Eddinger’s talk and can promise that it will leave you feeling energized and inspired for our LTE work. The meeting will be held via WebEx. RSVP is not required, so please share this invitation widely with colleagues and students who may be interested.
