The next meeting of the University Senate will be held on Monday, March 1st, 2021 from 4:00-6:00pm via WebEx Meeting. Members of the senate and presenters were sent the meeting link via a calendar invite. Senators must join through a computer to participate in floor discussions and voting. The featured report will be presented by Frank Tuitt, Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer. The Senate will vote on two motions presented by the Scholastic Standards Committee

The Senate Executive Committee will present the result of a comprehensive review of the By-Laws, Rules, and Regulations of the University Senate. The focus of the review was on both substantive and non-substantive changes aimed at fixing outdated language, clarifying processes and roles, and improving readability and consistency throughout the document. The proposed changes will be voted on at the Senate’s April 5th meeting.
