Please join us for the first, of three, UConn History Department Foreign Policy Seminars for the Spring 2021 semester. Our latest meeting will be tonight Friday, February 19. The speaker this evening will be historian Megan Black. All are welcome.
Megan Black is an Associate Professor of History at MIT and the author of the acclaimed, multiple prize-winning 2018 book, The Global Interior: Mineral Frontiers and American Power.
Professor Black will deliver a talk entitled, "Metallic Multinationalism: Financial Deregulation and Electronics Revolution in the Global 1970s."
Black's talk will start at 5 PM EST. A Q&A will immediately follow. It will be held on Zoom and here is the registration link:
