  • Change to Graduate Grading Scale

This is a reminder that the Graduate Faculty Council approved a change to the grading scale for graduate students (effective this past Winter term in Student Admin) so that the highest grade that a graduate student can earn in a class is now an A.  Students can no longer earn A+ grades.  This brings the grading scale for graduate students in line with the one used for undergraduates.  Instructors should be sure to reflect this on their syllabi and in their grading, and make sure that their students are aware of the change. Additional information about the grading scale is available here.
