    Note: Teaching Talks are designed as conversations among colleagues. Please come prepared to share ideas that have worked for you. Also come with whatever questions you may have. The more participatory the Talk is the more effective it will be.
    Focus: Communicating effectively with both individual students and groups
    Objectives: Participants will leave the Talk having heard and discussed ideas for effectively communicating with students in an online format.
    We will discuss topics such as:
    • Use of “Discussion Board” in HuskyCT
    • Use of “Announcements” in HuskyCT
    • Use of “Messages” in HuskyCT
    • Communication during synchronous presentations
    • Communication when the learning is asynchronous
    • Use of email
    • Other forms of communication
    • Your ideas, questions, concerns, issues…
