The William Benton Museum of Art: Artist Talk by Afarin Rahmanifar

Come hear Iranian artist Afarin Rahmanifar speak at the Benton Museum on Wednesday, February 12. Ms. Rahmanifar, who received her master’s from the University of Connecticut School of Fine Arts, will discuss her work that is showcased in the current exhibit Persepolis: Word and Image.
Ms. Rahmanifar’s art has been shown internationally. She is known for her painting and mixed media work and illustration of Persian miniature. She is inspired by the relationship between Eastern and Western cultures.
Free admission.
