Special Events and Receptions

  • Music & Social Justice

Please join Community Outreach Dialogues as we discuss the critical role that music has played in social justice movements, both historically and recently. Amidst social and political unrest, it is crucial to examine the positive impact music holds in inciting change, assuaging individuals, and motivating bystanders. We will be joined by Thomas Rozinski, Robbin Attas, and Jacob Hertzog, three professors with extensive research on the topic. Following a discussion led by the panelists, we will open up for brief small group conversations. The conversation will be held via Webex on Wednesday, January 27th, from 6-7:30 PM.

    RSVP on UConntact!
