Starting December 28, the virtual desktops for the School of Business and School of Engineering are moving to the Citrix environment (AnyWare), and ITS is formally retiring the legacy virtual desktop environment, VMware Horizon.
This update will change how you access the virtual desktops specific to these schools. The VMware Horizon client and portal that you used previously will be disabled. After December 28, you will log into AnyWare at anyware.uconn.edu. After logging in, you will see the desktops available to you. If this is the first time you have used AnyWare, you may need to install Citrix Receiver. More detailed instructions are available at https://confluence.uconn.edu/x/ygo8C.
