LMSA is supporting a fundraiser hosted by Kevin Crist, a dear friend of one of our members. Kevin Crist lived in the orphanage Hogar Miguel Magone in Guatemala when he was a young boy until he was adopted by an American couple in his teenage years and came to the United States. During these challenging times, he is hoping to bring some Christmas cheer to the children in the orphanage he once called “home.” He is trying to raise enough money to buy each kid a lasting pair of shoes and make a traditional Guatemalan meal for everyone at the orphanage to celebrate Christmas. They have already reached their goal of $4,000, but any additional money will go toward buying toys, personal hygiene items, school supplies, supplies to paint the orphanage, etc. Kevin Crist will be one of the pilots flying and hand-delivering the items. The fundraiser will be ongoing until December 26 (only 12 days left to donate!). Below is the link to donate and to learn more about the event.

In the spirit of giving back this Holiday season, LMSA will hold a raffle for those who donate any amount of money to the fundraiser. We will be raffling a personalized Ozark Trail insulated travel mug, a set of customized frosted wine glasses, and a personalized frosted glass.
