  • 12/1 CAPM Certification Training Offered by UConn CITI

CITI (CT Information Technology Institute), a division of the UConn School of Business, is offering CAPM® (Certified Associate in Project Management) training with CITI’s instructor, Jay Bardalai.

CAPM® certification is available through the Project Management Institute (PMI.org), the preeminent project management certifying body.

This first level targets those that are new to project management or are currently working as part of a team and would like to learn the principles. Today, much of the work done in organizations is project-based, making this training suitable for anyone trying to streamline processes and projects.

This training is available to anyone within the UConn organization, and is suitable for Professional Development. Supervisors, this is a great way to get your team focused and on track.

The curriculum is based on PMI’s PMBOK® 6th Ed. Course materials include a binder of slides and both the PMBOK® 6th Ed., and a CAPM manual by R. Mulchay. Once completing this course, you are eligible to sit for the CAPM exam through PMI.org.

    Offered on-line via Webex, this is a 3-day course, Dec. 1st – Dec. 3rd, 2020 from 9:00am – 5:00pm.

For more information or to enroll please go to CITI’s website at citi.uconn.edu  or contact CITI at citi.business@uconn.edu. For UConn staff and faculty there is a reduced rate for attendance, please contact us for more details.
