  • Doct Dissertation Fellowship Spring 2021 REVISED

    This is a CORRECTION of the announcement that was posted on October 30, 2020.

    Pending budgetary approval, The Graduate School awards a limited number of spring Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships (DDF) to students in doctoral programs requiring a dissertation.   Please note that fellowship funds are not guaranteed to any student who applies for the award. The fellowship is awarded in the amount of $ 2,000 to each eligible applicant.

     

    To be eligible for the fellowship:

    1.  The applicant must be a doctoral student.

    2.  The applicant must be enrolled in the semester in which the fellowship is awarded (spring 2021).

    3.  The applicant must document satisfactory completion and approval of the General Examination prior to midnight on November 30, 2020.

    4.  The applicant must document satisfactory completion and submission of the Dissertation Proposal prior to midnight on November 30, 2020.

    5.  The applicant is not eligible if they have previously received a Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship or Award. 

    6.  Students at UConn Health and UConn Law are not eligible to apply for this fellowship.

     

    Applications will be accepted from Sunday, November 1, 2020 through Monday, November 30, 2020. Applications received prior to November 1, 2020 or after November 30, 2020 will not be considered. To apply please fill out the online application form by going to https://grad.uconn.edu then click on Financing. In the drop down click on Fellowships and Awards.  Notifications will be e-mailed to each applicant by the end of December 2020.

    This fellowship can only be awarded to an individual once.  Doctoral students based at UConn Health and UConn Law School are not eligible to apply.
